Ira Hernowitz has been named Chief Executive Officer, Malte Muenke has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and Raychel Muenke, PhD will serve as Executive Vice President. The news of the executive leadership team restructure comes on the heels of a successful seed round lead by Boston Seed Capital, in which Kindara secured over three quarters of a million dollars in funding.

Ira Hernowitz joins Kindara as Chief Executive Officer, and will oversee business growth by driving the overall brand strategy through product development, financing and operations. Hernowitz, who brings three decades of experience in the physical product and parenting space, will lead a team of Software as a Service (SaaS) experts to revolutionize the future of the women's health industry. In his former role as President of Stride Rite, Hernowitz led the turnaround and re-branding of the popular children’s footwear brand. Prior to Stride Rite, Hernowitz acted as Executive Vice President for Toys“R”Us/Babies“R”Us and served as Senior Vice President of Marketing North America during his 16-year tenure with Hasbro.
Malte Muenke has been appointed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Muenke, a co-founder of Expertcity (now Citrix), was the visionary and the coding superhero behind the popular GoToMyPC, GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar products that revolutionized the SaaS marketplace. In his role as CTO, Muenke will be tasked with driving innovation for Kindara’s mobile apps, web and data platform and connected devices.
Raychel Muenke, PhD joins the Kindara team as Executive Vice President (EVP), and brings a wealth of experience with scientific research, academic publishing and university-level teaching. Dr. Muenke has a strong business track record of building successful teams and leading software development, and was the product manager that brought GoToMyPC to the marketplace. As a scientist, Dr. Muenke firmly believes that women deserve a better reproductive healthcare experience. In her role as EVP, she will be responsible for all brand content, with a focus on physical and mental health issues faced by the Kindara community. Dr. Muenke will work to create the best product experience possible, so women can more confidently take the lead with their healthcare decisions.
