Leading Fertility Tracking App Kindara
Now Available for Android

Boulder, COLO. - September 5, 2014 - Kindara, a top women’s health app for iOS, launched the first Android version of its free fertility tracking app in the Google Play Store today. The launch came in response to high demand from current iOS users switching over to Android devices as well as from prospective users excitedly awaiting the arrival of Kindara for Android.

The Kindara app allows women to chart their fertility signs to either increase their chances of getting pregnant, avoid pregnancy effectively and naturally, or better understand their cycles. Since 2012, Kindara has helped over 25,000 women conceive, and users continue to report approximately 100 successful pregnancies a day.

For women seeking a natural and highly effective birth control alternative, Kindara provides world-class support and education to promote proper use of the Fertility Awareness Method of birth control in adherence with scientifically proven standards. Women using the Kindara app to track their periods report a deeper understanding of their reproductive cycles and, in partnership with their practitioners, can better pinpoint irregularities in their cycles caused by underlying conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, or luteal phase defects.

Today, the app expands into the Android world, allowing more women and couples the opportunity take their fertility into their hands. The Android app is free and contains all the much-loved features found in the iOS app.

“We’re thrilled to be reaching more women and couples with the release of Kindara for Android,” said Simla Somturk, the Head of Product and Marketing at Kindara. “Our vision is for every woman in the world to have access to Kindara so that every woman can feel calm, confident, and powerful about her fertility and her body.”

The Kindara app goes beyond helping women achieve their fertility goals. With Kindara’s Custom Data and Journal sections, a woman can track any factor she feels is relevant to her overall health and well-being. The app’s Custom Reminders feature allows her to set reminders for anything she likes at daily, weekly, monthly, or cycle-by-cycle intervals to help manage her busy life. In addition, Kindara’s Community feature allows her to connect with women who have similar goals or health concerns in a supportive, knowledgeable environment.

“Kindara is so much more than just a fertility app,” said Will Sacks, co-founder and CEO of Kindara. “It’s a platform that women can use to optimize their health throughout their reproductive years.”

Kindara is now available for download in both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
